To Hell with Poverty!

Well, this doesn't really count as a library post, but I went to see Gang of Four last night, and they rocked so hard, it was unbelievable.  The audience was as old or older than I, and we screamed and jumped around like it was 1982 again.  I have such strong memories of listening to G of 4 om my giant boom box at the beach, and on my friend Jeanne's bedroom floor, and in my room crying and screaming and dancing. (most of what I felt like in high school). I had more than one mix tape with G of 4 songs on them, and hearing them at the show last night, I was remembering what came next on my tapes after the song played live.
